Technology Corporate Management (Pty) Ltd realised that the need for skilled people within the industry was on the increase. As a leader in its field TCM came up with the notion of a training centre which would skill historically disadvantaged people; this would not only ensure its own skills needs are met, but it would also ensure that learners who enter the field through the centre are skilled to industry standards which will address the skills shortage within the IT industry. TCM Academy was formed.

TCM Academy was established in 2007 with the objective of stimulating growth, development and enablement within the ICT industry. TCM Academy is based in Midrand, Johannesburg with facilities that exceed the specifications as mandated by MICT SETA and vendors.

TCM Academy is the ideal go to partner to assist organisations invest in, and meet their ICT skills needs. The various programs consisting of learnerships, internships and short courses aid in generating skills which are relevant and recognised within the frameworks set out by national governing bodies and authorities. The programmes offered are specifically designed for candidates to acquire the requisite skills and attributes to help individuals integrate into the world of work.

TCM Academy is run by TCM employees that are familiar with the IT field and the demands which the constantly evolving industry brings along with it. The structure of the Academy’s curriculum is based on a model best suited to deliver customized training offerings for each individual customer’s requirements, hereby allowing corporate clients to meet their technical needs.
